These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the DISCINTEL software-as-a-service platform at app.getdiscintel.com and related pages (the "Service"). The Service is provided by DISCINTEL, LLC, a North Carolina limited liability company ("DISCINTEL", "we", "us"). 1. The Service

DISCINTEL provides software for identity-based AI governance.

2. Early access and fees

The Service is free during early access. Features may be added, changed, limited or discontinued, and the Service may be unavailable at times. We will give at least [30] days' notice before introducing fees for features you use, and no fee will apply to you unless you agree to it.

3. Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract. Provide accurate information, keep your sign-in methods (including passkeys and email access) secure, and tell us promptly at privacy@getdiscintel.com if you suspect unauthorized use. You are responsible for activity under your account. Sign-in is provided by Auth0 (Okta, Inc.). Each account's Business workspace is separate; do not share your account with others.

4. Your content

You keep all rights to the data you put into the Service ("Your Content"). You grant DISCINTEL a limited, non-exclusive license to host, copy, process and display Your Content only as needed to provide, secure and support the Service for you. We do not use Your Content to train AI models. You confirm that you have the rights and any required consents for Your Content, and that it complies with the law. You can export evidence packages from your Business workspace at any time while your account is active.

5. Personal vault

Your Personal vault is encrypted in your browser with a passphrase only you know, and it is never sent to us. We cannot see, reset or recover it. If you forget your passphrase, or clear your browser's data or switch devices without an exported backup, your vault is permanently lost. You are responsible for keeping your passphrase and backups safe.

6. Decision support, not advice

The Service helps you apply and record your own governance rules. It does not make decisions with legal effect on its own, and it does not provide legal, regulatory, compliance, financial, employment or clinical advice. Evidence logs are designed to make changes detectable ("tamper-evident"); they are not a guarantee that records cannot be altered, and they are not a certification by DISCINTEL or any regulator. You remain responsible for your organization's decisions and for its compliance with law and regulation. DISC results describe self-reported tendencies. Do not use them as the basis for employment, credit, insurance, housing or similar eligibility decisions.

7. Sample and simulated data

The sample institution, its people, approvers, sanctions-screening list, payment rail and ledger observer are fictional or simulated. The Service does not move money, connect to payment systems, or screen against real sanctions lists.

8. Acceptable use

You will not:

9. Third-party services

The Service relies on third-party providers, including Auth0 for sign-in and Netlify for hosting. Their own terms apply to their services, and we are not responsible for their outages or acts. If you choose to connect a third-party service in the future, your use of it is between you and that provider.

10. Intellectual property

The Service, including its software, designs, documentation and content (other than Your Content), belongs to DISCINTEL and its licensors. DISCINTEL and the DISCINTEL keyhole logo are trademarks owned by Kimbell L. Collins and used by DISCINTEL, LLC under license. These Terms do not grant you any right to use them. If you send us feedback or suggestions, we may use them without obligation to you.

11. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" DURING EARLY ACCESS. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, DISCINTEL DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE AND NON-INFRINGEMENT, AND ANY WARRANTY THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE OR SECURE, OR THAT DATA WILL NOT BE LOST.

12. Limitation of liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, DISCINTEL WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THE SERVICE OR THESE TERMS, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THEIR POSSIBILITY. DISCINTEL'S TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS RELATED TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID DISCINTEL FOR THE SERVICE IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR US $100. SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW THESE LIMITATIONS, SO THEY MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.

13. Indemnity

If you use the Service for an organization, the organization will defend and indemnify DISCINTEL against third-party claims, and the resulting losses and reasonable costs, arising from Your Content or from the organization's breach of these Terms or of the law.

14. Suspension and termination

You may stop using the Service at any time and request account deletion at privacy@getdiscintel.com. We may suspend or end your access if you breach these Terms, if required by law, or to protect the Service or other users, and we may discontinue the Service. Where practical, we will give notice and a reasonable chance to export your Business data first. Sections 5, 6, 10 through 13, 15 and 17 survive termination.

15. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Before filing a claim, each party agrees to try to resolve the dispute informally for 30 days after written notice to the other. After that, the state and federal courts located in Mecklenburg County, North Carolina have exclusive jurisdiction, and both parties consent to them. Either party may seek urgent injunctive relief in any competent court.

16. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. We will post the new version here with a new date and, for material changes, notify you by email or in the Service at least [14] days before they take effect. If you keep using the Service after that date, you accept the changes. If you do not agree, stop using the Service and you may request deletion.

17. General

These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between you and DISCINTEL about the Service. If any provision is unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. A failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms without our consent. We may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition or sale of assets. Neither party is liable for delays caused by events beyond its reasonable control. You will comply with U.S. export-control and sanctions laws that apply to your use of the Service.
